Suburban Mobility for Regional Transportation (SMART)

One feature of this year’s Earth Day conversation we are excited about is a PhD thesis being written on Place-Based Development and Design Thinking for Transportation, with a focus on our “Transit Talks” community engagement & the SMART Bus/Pontiac Community Partnership Program (CPP) funded for $150,000.00 annually (2017-Present).

You may recall our design advocacy for this program which is similar to the NEW SMART Flex service that is being rolled out in Troy, Dearborn and Hall Road Corridors.

DESIGN CHALLENGE! How might we get this service in Pontiac, with a location at the Phoenix Center bus stop?
